This AVR was a quick pickup from Market Place for free. It was advertised as “Was working fine until other day when the standby light was just blinking red.” A closer look revealed it wasn’t a standby light, it was a flashing HDMI LED. From the service manual:
The two keys it’s mentions are [ADVANCED SURROUND] and [STANDBY/ON] keys – Press and hold the keys
for 2 seconds, it then sprung back to life and displayed audio volume.
Compared to the Pioneer SC-2022 the feel of the controls on the front appear cheaper and not as refined.
